There are currently 46 Mashpee students attending Gape Cod Tech. <br /> 8.4 Out-of-School Suspensions — In grade 7, there were 1 I infraction while in <br /> grade 8, there were none during the month of Pecember 2001. The grades 9-1 <br /> infractions were as follows: Grade 9, 9; Grade 10, 4; Grade 11, 3; and Grade 1 , 5. <br /> There were a total of I 1 Saturday School suspensions during Leber. <br /> 8.5 CORI Checks Policy GDS'—"Background round Checks on Prospective Employee-s" <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the above-named <br /> policy regarding background checks on prospective employees. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> .6 2000-2001 Annual Report—Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. <br /> Caswell,to accept the 2000-2001 Annual Report for inclusion in the Town's report. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> .7 FY03 dud ct—Mr. Tarl w gave ars in-depth presentation of the FY03 budget. <br /> He discussed contractual commitments, continuing labor contracts ($1,139,984); new <br /> positions ($506,000); maintain class size ($132,000); prior votes of the School <br /> Committee which include: Varsity Ice Hockey Coach, Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Color <br /> Guard; Freshmen Boys Basketball Coach;and Junior High"B" Basketball Coaches(2), <br /> ($11,000);continuation of grant positions 110,000); security($172,000)broken en down <br /> a follows: 3 FTE door monitors(one at each school)- $35,000; door lochs - $16,000; <br /> surveillance - $3 ,000; phones and intercom systems - $86,000; state mandates - <br /> $218,000; special education out-of-district tuition - $231,000; continuing non-labor <br /> contracts - $72,000; capital improvement program contingency — copiers, wheelchair <br /> gran (included in CI P request)- $41,000. <br />
