MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE <br /> REGULAR MEETII <br /> FEBRUARY 6,2002 _ <br /> Minute <br /> Attendees: Chairwoman Theresa Cool, Ben Caswell, Janice Mills, and Peter Thomas. Mollie Reis was unable to attend <br /> tonight's meeting. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Flury and Business Administrator <br /> Michael Tarlow. <br /> Call Meeting Mrs. Cook called the regular meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. in the Quashnet School <br /> to Order Library. <br /> 11. Executive Session Motion made by NIS-.Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Mills,to trove into executive session <br /> at 6:36 p.m.for the purpose of negotiations,personnel and litigation. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mrs. Cook, Mr. Caswell, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Thomas; <br /> opposed—none. <br /> The regular meeting reconvened at 7-05 p.m. <br /> III. Acknowledgments Before she started the"Acknowledgments"this evening,Mrs. Cook noted that Bonnie <br /> Sellars,a Cape Cod Collaborative student since the age of 3,passed away this week. <br /> .1 Corres onden a frorn David Rudenick dated December.6,2001 —Mrs.Cook <br /> acknowledged a letter received from Mr. Rudeni k, Student Civil Rights Director on <br /> the Governor's Task Force on Hate Crimes, who congratulated the high school on <br /> joining the student civil rights tarn program. <br /> .2 Correspondence from David P. Driscoll dated January 3, 2002 — Mrs. Cook <br /> acknowledged a letter from Commissioner of Education Mr. Driscoll in which he <br /> informs the school department that Robin Agricola and Michael Crosby have been <br /> awarded the 2001 Stanley Z.Koplik Certificate of Mastery Award. <br />
