Committee Deports 11.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations—Mrs. Cook said Negotiations are stillon-going with Unit C and <br /> the Custodial/Maintenance union. <br /> l 1.1.2 High School,-Mr. Caswell said issues regarding the high school were <br /> discussed earlier in the meeting,i.e.,the 2002-2003 Program of Studies and <br /> the out-of-state trip. Another needs to be scheduled. <br /> 11.1.3 Element [y,School — Mrs. Mills said the elementary school issues were <br /> previously discussed with the Coombs School School Improvement Plan for <br /> this year. However, Mrs. Mills stressed the importance of obtaining <br /> immunizations prior to student registration as immunizations are mandated by <br /> the Commonwealth for students. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum — Mrs. Par lski informed the Committee the next meeting for the <br /> Science revision is slated for February 12,2002. The Tech Ed meeting will b <br /> held on March 5h. <br /> 11.1.5 Finance Committee — Mrs. Cook said this committee will meet on February <br /> '. A joint meeting with the School Committee, Board ofSelectmen and <br /> Finance Committee is set for February 111h t 6:00 p.m. in Town Hall. <br /> 11.2 External Reports <br /> 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative — Mrs. Deis was absent this evening but Mr. Flury <br /> reiterated that he will discuss the classroom space issue with lir. Healey on <br /> February ". <br /> 11.2.2 Leisure Services — Mr. Thomas reported on a meeting held with Leisure <br /> Services regarding their space at the high school. Also security was discussed <br /> at that meeting. <br /> 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force—There has been no meeting. <br /> 11.2.4 Affirmative Action Committee — Ilrfr. Fluery said a meeting is scheduled for <br /> February 12`x` and February 2h in Town Hall. He also mentioned that the <br /> Cape Cod Collaborative will be taking over minority job recruitment. Also, he <br /> stated that a web site will be created for recruitment purposes. <br /> 11.2.5 Boosters Club — Mr. Caswell reported that the high school press box was <br /> discussed at the last meeting. There will be a Valentine's Dance sponsored by <br /> the Harmony Club on February 9th at the Coonaresett Inn and Mashpee will <br /> be holding a cheerleading invitational exhibition on February 10th in the <br /> Mshpee High School Ron Bock Gymnasium from 12:00-3-00 p.m. <br /> 11.2.6 Indian Education—There has been no meeting scheduled. Mr. Fluery said he <br /> has spin to Stephanie Tobey regarding WAS computer support in the <br /> Indian Education room at the high school as well as the latest state MCAS test <br /> results. <br />
