t MAS]F P E SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING- AUGUST 5., 2002 PAGE .9 High School Handbook, 2002-2003 — Mrs. St. Cyr discussed the high school handbook earlier in the meeting. 8.10 Picnic Tables Solicitation — Food Srviccs — On behalf of Fd Services Director Robert Scott, Mr. Tarlw discussed this topic where Mr. Scott requested permission to contact local businesses seeking to solicit donations for the purchase of picric table for use by Mashpee High School students. It was decided that Mr. Scott should seek other avenues to obtain picnic tables. . New Business There were no issues for discussion under""New Business.}' X11 Committee Reports 11.1 Sub-Committee Deports 11.1.1 Negotiations—There were no negotiations issues. 11.1.2 High School — Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Deis recently met with high � school officials to discuss the student/parent handbook revisions. ; 11.1.3 Elementary School — Mr. Thomas and Mr. Caswell met with Mrs. Doyle to discuss the student/parent handbook. 11.1.4 Curriculum — Mrs. Par lski said there has been no meeting during the summer months but they will scheduled in the fall. 11.2 External Reports 11.2.1 Cqpe Cod Collaborative—This committee will resume in the fall. 11.2.2 Leisure Services—Mr. Thomas said there has been no meeting. 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force — Mr. Caswell, principals and representatives from First Student met last week to discuss the 2002-2003 bus routes. i I 11.2.4 Affirmative Action Committee—Mrs. Lopez said there has been n meeting. 11.2.5 Boosters Club — 1r. Thomas said the high school press box is ;'rolling right along."' 11.2.6 Indian Education — Mr. Caswell said he has not been informed of any meetings.
