R <br /> MASHPEE SCS-TOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING—OCTOBER 1, 2003 PACE <br /> 11.2.2 Leisure Services — Mrs. Bels attended the Advisory Council meeting <br /> last night where Mr. Frederick reported on the fall and winter <br /> programs. <br /> 11.2.3 SafeTransportation Task Ford Mr. Thomas reported the annual <br /> parent meeting was held on September 2 t" regarding bus stops. The <br /> next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday,October 'h at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 11.2.4 Affirmative Action Com mitt —Mrs. Cook said the next vo ecting is set <br /> for {Tuesday, October 7th where final plans for oltobrfst will b <br /> discussed. <br /> 11.2.5 Boosters Club W-- Mrs. Deis attended the meeting where elections were <br /> held. results were as follows: President - Ikon McCuish5 Vice <br /> President — Brian McCarthy, Treasurer — Ed Hanrahan, Secretary — <br /> Mary Clare Casey. <br /> 11.2.6 Indian Education—Mrs. Lopez said these meetings are scheduled on an <br /> "as needed" basis. <br /> 11.2.7 ealth. yiso[y Committee—Mrs. Lopez reported no meeting as yet. <br /> XII. 'Other As a follow-up from last month's meeting, Mrs. Cook inquired about the e-mail <br /> addresses from home in order to expedite information. This will be coordinated <br /> shortly. <br /> Upcoming Events: "Homecoming"' is Friday, October 3ra with the football <br /> game against North Reading; "'Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 4th; <br /> Melissa Murphy plugged the "Haunted House" on October 2 1h from : — <br /> 10:00 p.m. for "'Scary"; October 2 1h from 2:00-4:00 for "Not So Scary"' and <br /> 5:00-10:00 fr r "Very Scary" and the run-through with Mr. Brown on October <br /> 23rd at 2:30 p.m. <br /> Mrs. Mills met this afternoon with Mrs. Parolski i and Jim Vaccaro who <br /> discussed the rotary traffic issue. She stressed that contrary to published <br /> newspaper reports and discussion at the Selectmen's meeting there will be no <br /> road between the Coombs School and Quashnet School in order to divert <br /> rotary traffic. She wanted parents and residents to rest assured there is no plan <br /> to have a road constructed between the two schools. <br /> III. Executive Session There was no need to hold a second executive session this evening. <br />
