MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING—OCTOBER L, 2003 PAGE 4 <br /> 8.11 High School PVI Program Entrance andExit Criteria — Grades -1 <br /> Housemaster Mr. Moore and Grades 11-12 Housemaster Mrs. St. Cyr <br /> addressed the Committee regarding this program. Mr. Brown outlined this <br /> concept at the September regular me ting. <br /> After outlining the program, a motion was made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by <br /> Mrs. Mills, to approve the High School PILI Program Entrance and Exit <br /> Criteria. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> IX. Specifically Assigned/ 9.1 Menu Advisory Committee—Mrs. Cook discussed reinstating this <br /> Unfinished Business committee where the food program is reviewed on a monthly basis. Mrs. Cook <br /> volunteered to be the School Committee's liaison to this sub-committee once <br /> establ ished. <br /> X. New Business There were no items under"New Business."' <br /> XI. Committee Reports 11.1 Sub-Committee Re its <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations—Mr. Thomas said Unit C has some language issues that <br /> need to be clarified before ratification;the non-union employees' <br /> contracts will be reviewed prior to employee signing there. <br /> 11.1.2 High School —Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Lopez met with this committee and <br /> the School Committee policy manual was discussed as well as progress <br /> reports. Mr. Brown has undertaken the revision of the policy manual as <br /> a project this year with the assistance of a smal l team of volunteers. A s <br /> sections are reviewed, they will be given to the School Committee in <br /> their packets for review and approval. <br /> 11.1.3 Dementary,School —Mr. Thomas said there has been no meeting yet. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum/MCAS — Mrs. Par lsl i informed the public ofthe <br /> "kickoff" meetings of this year's curriculum revisions. The Art <br /> Curriculum community meeting is slated for Tuesday, October '71" t <br /> 2:30 p.m. while the Family & Consumer Science is set for Thursday, <br /> October 9"' at 2:30 and the Social Sciences also on October 9"' at <br /> 3;30. <br /> MCAS results were discussed previously in the meeting. <br /> 11.2 External Reports <br /> 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative — Mrs. Lopez reported on Open blouse that <br /> was held today at Collaborative locations. She was very impressed <br /> with activities that tale place in these classrooms. <br />
