iNb M.ASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE JOINT MEETING WITH SCHOOL COUNCILS JANUARY 21, 2004, PAGE 2 Quashnet School Principal Bob Tippo introduced his School Council - Teacher Patty ) Boer, School Furse Susan Cowles, and parent Nancy Carter. Mr. Tippo said his Council had no specific requests for next year. The Coombs School Council, unfortunately, did not arrive to the meeting in time to male their presentation. . FY04 Budget Update—Mrs. Ferguson discussed the current status of the FY04 budget. .1 FY04 Budget t Transfers —The following FY04 budget transfers were made (see Exhibit A , Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to approve budget transfer 4 04-02-90 totalling$207,716.10. VOTE: Unanimous Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to approve budget transfer 404- - 3 totaling$14,222.91. VOTE: Unanimous Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to approve budget transfer #04-01- 0 totaling$10,662.05. VOTE: Unanimous 4. .5 FTE Grades 718 MCAS Teacher—Mrs. Paro I s k i outlined the need to hire a half-time MCAS teacher through June 2004. Salary would be covered by recent res 1 gn ati ns. Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Deis, to approve hiring a .5 FTE MCAS teacher for Grades . VOTE: Unanimous . 2003-2004 Annual Deport — Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the 2002-2003 Annual Deport. VOTE: Unanimous . 'fan Surplus — Mrs. Ferguson explained- the reasons for declaring the 1992 -passenger Chevrolet van VIII 1FBSS31L9Y.HA25557 as surplus. The van has 243,640 ails and is n longer serviceable as 7D or as a municipal plate vehicle. Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the above-described van as , surplus. VOTE: Unanimous +7. other — Mrs. Ferguson outlined the December mber 2003 School Lunch Report which reflects a balance of$142,461.49 in the revolving account. Also, the next Menu Advisory Committee meeting is slated for Wednesday, February 4, 2004 t 1:45 p.m.Iin the high school.
