Janice Mills arrived at 6:43 p.m. <br /> and l onnaJean Lopez was absent this evening. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools <br /> Patricia Parolski and Business Office Supervisor Ellen Ferguson. <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order — Mrs. Cook called the finance meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the <br /> Quashnet School Library. <br /> Executive Session - Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to move into <br /> executive session at 6:31 p.m.for the purpose of personnel and negotiations. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs.Cook, Mrs.Reis, and Mr. Thomas;opposed—none. <br /> The finance meeting reconvened at 7:06 p.m. <br /> . Senator Role 'Le ry -- Chapter 70 Funds - Mrs. Cook announced that Senator Robert: <br /> O'Leary, who was scheduled to appear at tonight's meeting, was unable to attend, however, he <br /> will be present at the October 6 1h regular meeting to discuss Chapter 70 funding. <br /> . FY05 Budget Update — Mrs. Ferguson outlined the FY05 budget and said things "are going <br /> along according to plan." In her report, Mrs. Ferguson mentioned the upcoming bus contract <br /> renewal. It was decided that Mr. Thomas would serve on the committee to review the bus <br /> specifications. <br /> Mrs. Mills commended Mrs. Ferguson for her efforts in saving the school district $3,000 for <br /> rebates for the purchase of a new 2404 Ford Wheelchair vary. The rebates were obtained by <br /> enrolling Mashpee Public Schools in the Ford Government Fleet Department. <br /> Also, Mrs. Par 1 1 i gave kudos to Mrs.. Ferguson regarding the Cape Cod Collaborative billing <br /> errors in FY 3. The matter was resolved and resulted in no outstanding balance. <br /> Mrs. Ferguson thanked and commended Special Education Administrator Jane Eeaudin and her � <br /> Executive Administrative Secretary Lorraine I rowne for their efforts in obtaining $135,536 in <br /> Circuit Breaker reimbursements,a %reimbursement rate. <br /> 4.1.1 FY5 Budget Transfers <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Reis, seconded by Mr. Thomas,to approve budget transfer <br /> 405-01-01 totaling$10,000.00 <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Reis, seconded by Mrs. Mills,to approve budget transfer <br /> 405-01-03 totaling$16,525.70. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br />
