MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE <br /> REGULAR METING <br /> OCTOBER 6, 2004 <br /> Minutes <br /> Attendees: Chairman Theresa Cook, Janice Mills, and Peter Thomas. DonnaJean Lopez and Mollie leis <br /> were absent this evening. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Patricia Parolskl and Business <br /> Office Supervisor Ellen Ferguson. <br /> Call Meeting Mrs. Cook called the regular meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Quashnet <br /> to Order School Library. <br /> H. Executive Session Motion Made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs.Mills,to move into <br /> executive session at 6:31 p.m. for the purpose of negotiations and personnel. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Thomas; <br /> opposed—none. <br /> IIS. Public Forum High School tackier Brian Hyde said that high school volunteer track coach <br /> Paul Phinney passed away last week and them will be a memorial service on <br /> Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the rational Cemetery in Bourne, IIIA. <br /> Following that there will be a reception at the high school in his honor. <br /> Ties for the above were unknown at meeting time. <br /> Becky Roinkey — Mrs. I omkey is a representative of the PTO and <br /> questioned the recent MCAS AS results and what effect did outdated textbooks <br /> have on these results. She asked what would be required to improve these <br /> test scores? <br />
