Discussion will <br /> focus on criteria required, advertising, etc. This meeting will then be <br /> followed by the finance inecting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> .2 Parent/Community Forum Meeting Dates — Mrs. Cook announced <br /> the three forums for parents and community members who are interested in <br /> attending. They are as follows: Monday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the <br /> Quashnet School Library; and two forums on Tuesday, October 19`b at 9:30 <br /> .m. in the Coombs School Music Room and the other at 3:30 p.m. in the <br /> Quashnet School Library. <br /> 9.3 SPED Office Expenditures — School Facilities Supervisor Brad <br /> Tripp submitted an actual cost spreadsheet for the move ofthe special <br /> education office from the high school to the Quashnct School. Framing, <br /> she trod , paint, electrical, air conditioning, new phones, phone wiring and <br /> in-house labor totaled $9,220. Ofspecial note was if the labor had been <br /> outsourced, an additional$8,000 would have been expended. <br /> Mrs. Cook commended Mir. Tripp and his staff for their efforts in the special <br /> education office move. <br /> 9.4 School Attorney Replacement—Mrs. Cook said that due to Attorney <br /> William Butler's departure as the school department's school attomey <br /> effective January 1, 2005, it will be necessary to send out RFPs to school <br /> attorneys. <br /> 9.5 Business Administrator's Fundln — Mrs. Ferguson was asked to <br /> identify the funding sources for the new Business Administrator. She will <br /> do so and will report at the October 20"' finance meeting. <br /> X.
