MA S HPEB SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETIN G—L E E IBER 1, 2004 PAGE <br /> 11.1.2 High S cho1 —Mr. Brown outlined th e issues earlier in the meeting for <br /> the FY06 budget. <br /> 11.1,3 Elementary School—Mrs.Reis said there was no meeting. <br /> 11.1.4 CurrieuIum MCAS—Mrs.Parol ski reported there i s ori-going work. <br /> 11.2 External Reports <br /> 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative — Mrs. Lopez reported the Collaborative is <br /> now offering executive level consultations. <br /> 11.2.2 Leisure Services — liths. Lopez asked the status of the fee schedule <br /> charges for groups that use school facilities. Mr. Roche will <br /> investigate. <br /> 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force—Mrs. Par lski said there have been n <br /> meetings. <br /> 11.2.4 Boosters Club—Mrs.Reis said she did not attend the last meeting. <br /> 11.2.5 Indian Education — Mrs. Lopez said she has not been notified ofany <br /> meetings. <br /> 11.2.6 Health Advisory Committee — Mrs. Lopez said this committee i <br /> continuing to be reorganized. <br /> 11.2.7 Menu Advisor Committee—Mrs. Mills said there has been no meeting <br /> although perhaps there will be one at the beginning of 2005. <br /> XH. Other Mrs. Cook thanked Carol Mitchell for the"Helping Hands" fundraiser which <br /> raised money for the Coombs School playground. <br /> Mrs. Mitchell also brought forth an issue regarding CORI checks for employees <br /> that are currently completed only within the,Com n nwe lth of Massachusetts <br /> and not through a nation-wide resource. Mrs. Cook will draft a letter to Senator <br /> Edward Kennedy and Congressman Delahunt in support ofa nation-wide LORI <br /> cheek process. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Lopez, to approve a letter be <br /> sent to above-named politicians. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Mrs. Cook commended Mr-. Brown for the letter received from the New <br /> England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) regarding continuation <br /> f Mashpee High School's accreditation. <br />
