Mrs. Cook suggested contacting President Mr. Donald <br /> McCuish or Treasurer Ed Hanrahan. <br /> 11.2.5 Indian Education — Mrs. Lopez updated the Committee ittee on the Indian <br /> Education program. There are currently 160 native students in Grades <br /> K-12 taking the program with a majority being wampan ag. A. <br /> "Homework Club" has been f rs ulated for Grades -12 on Tuesdays, <br /> Wednesday, and Thursdays with the assistance of a tutor. Any <br /> questions or interest to participate in cultural activities can be directed <br /> Joan Avant at 508-539-3600 X1025. <br /> 11.2.6 health Ad is ry_Committee — Mrs. Lopez said this committee is not <br /> meeting and needs to get a basic foundation group together. <br /> 11.2.7 Menu Advisory_,Committee — firs. Mills said there has been n <br /> meeting. <br /> XIY. Other liths. Parolski said she had been contacted by John O'Neil,a member of the <br /> Friends of the Mashpee Library Committee, regarding facility usage from June <br /> 2006 to August 2007. She explained that the 1lashpee Library is in need of <br /> approximately 2,500 square feet while the new library is being built. Mrs. <br /> Mills felt there would be no room at the schools to accommodate this request <br /> but based on enrollments at the time,the C.o mittee will look into it then. <br /> Also, Mrs. Par lskl reported on the debriefing meeting held at Town Dail this <br /> week regarding the Quashnet School's usage as the shelter during the <br /> snowstorm last week. Discussion at that meeting also mentioned the possible <br /> usage of Mashpee High School designated as an official shelter by the Red <br /> Cross in the future. <br /> Mrs. Cook asked if School Committee members ould like to place ars ad in <br /> the Class high school yearbook. She said a. 1a"ad could be purchased for <br /> $ 5. <br /> Mrs. Cook mentioned a Division VII dinner to be held on Monday, January 10, <br /> 2005 at Upper Cape Tech at 6:00 p.m. Topics of discussion will be "Conflict <br /> Resolution and Peer Mediation in Schools."' Mrs. Cook, Mrs. 'Lopez, Mr. <br /> Roche and Office Hettinger will plan on attending. <br /> XIII. Executive Session There was no need to have a second executive session this evening. <br />
