IA HP E SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 2, 2005 Minutes Attendees: Chairman Theresa Cool, Mollie llie Reis and Peter Thomas. DonnaJean Lopez and Janice Mills were absent this evening. Also in. attendance were Superintendent of Schools Patricia Par lski and Business Administrator Ptcr Roche. I. Call Meeting Mrs. Cook called the regular meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Quashnet to Order School Library. II. Executive Session Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to move into executive session for the purpose of personnel and negotiations at 6:31 p.m. Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs.Cook, Mrs. Reis and Mr.Thomas; opposed— none. The regular meeting reconvened at 7:05 p.m. 111. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Regular Meeting—January 5, 2005—Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by firs. Reis, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on January 5, 2005. VO'C'E: Unanimous 3.2 Executive Session — Januar 2005 — lotion made by Mrs. Reis, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held n January 5, 2005. VOTE; Unanimous 3.3 Finance icctin — January 19, 2005 — Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the minutes of the finance meeting held on January 1 ,2005. VOTE: Unanimous 3.4 Executive Session._January 19, 2005 —Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to approve the minutes of the executive session field on January 19,2005. VOTE: Unanimous IV. Public Forum Liz Hendricks addressed the Committee regarding the disbursement of funds raised this past summer at Roche Bros. She questioned if a portion of the $4,000 raised was earmarked for the Boosters Club and the PTO. Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Pay- lsl i informed Mrs. Hendricks the directive was to distribute among the three schools for the technology program. Mrs. Hendricks asked what can parents do to assist the School Committee t support therm in their FY06 budget request. Mrs. Cook said attendance at
