He also said he would be <br /> loading the FY06 budget figures into the system next,week(the week of <br /> May r 23, 2005.) <br /> VI. Status of Grants, There were no comments on these items this evening. <br /> Revolving Accounts <br /> and Lurch Program <br /> VII. FY06 Capital Mr. Noche presented letters of intent for the FY06 Capital Improvement <br /> Improvement— projects. They included: 1 flooring-renvati ns at the'Coombs and <br /> Letters Intent Quashnet Schools; and <br /> system wide rrYputer r�etw rhubs with <br /> switches, purchase site license for server and PC operating systems and <br /> current Microsoft Office package, purchase PC monitoring and inventory <br /> programs, purchase and upgrade firewall and web filtering <br /> hardware/software, purchase and replace all network hubs with switches <br /> in classrooms and administration, purchase and provide reliable remote <br /> access VPN solution, purchase and replace all network servers, and <br /> purchase and provide wireless cart and wireless access points for <br /> classrooms and meeting rooms. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Deis,to approve the <br /> above-named capital improvement letters of intent for the FY 06 budget. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous <br /> VIII. Transportation Mr. Noche said there are currently 12 bus drivers from First Student who <br /> Contract have applied to Braga/Cozy Transportation beginning in the fall of 2005. <br /> He also reported that Cozy has not secured a Mashpee location for their <br /> buses to commence in September 2005. <br /> Imo. Community Picnic Discussed earlier in the meeting. <br /> X. Leisure Services The"Application for Use of School Facilities"was also discussed <br /> earlier. <br /> XI. Other Mr. Roche discussed the textbook adoption for neat year. He,along with <br /> Mrs. Par lski, commended Ann English for her continuing efforts in this <br /> project. <br /> Mrs. Parlki updated the Committee on the Quashnet School principal <br /> search. Interviews will be held on Tuesday, May 24th with a finalist to be <br /> named at the June I" School Committee meeting. <br /> On behalf ofthe School Committee,Mr. Thomas thanked Terrie Cook <br /> for her years of dedication as she served on the. School Committee. She <br /> was recently elected to the Board of Selectmen. <br />
