Executive Session Motion made by Mrs. Grady, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to move:.46to executive <br /> session at :1 for the purpose f negotiations and personnel. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor— Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Reis, and Mrs. Grady; opposed — <br /> none. <br /> The regular meeting reconvened at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Mrs. Mills moved up the next feu items on the agenda because presenters were <br /> in the audience. <br /> 11.1 New School Committee Member - Mrs. hills announced Mrs. Becky <br /> Romkey as the School Committee's recommendation to complete the one-year <br /> tern filling Mrs. Cook's position. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Grady, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to recommend Becky <br /> Romkey as the School Committee's selection to become the fifth member of <br /> the Committee for one year. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Mrs. Mills announced the appointment ofMr. Jeff'bees(currently the Qu ashnt <br /> School Assistant Principal)as the new Quashnet School Principal effective July <br /> I, 2005. <br /> On behalf of the School Committee, Mrs. Mills presented retiring <br /> Superintendent Mrs. ParoIski with a silver bowl and an orchid plant. <br /> V. Public Forum Sean O'Connor discussed his observations both as a parent and a teacher <br /> regarding the Mashpee school system. i <br /> 10.2 DC Travelers — March 20-30, 2006 — Mr. Hyde addressed the <br /> Committee stating the DC Travelers trip is still going to take place but the dates <br /> may change due to a possible conflict with the FBLA trip to New York City. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Reis, seconded by Mrs. Brady to approve the LSC <br /> Travelers trip next year when the dates are conveniently arranged for all. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> i <br />
