After^his presentation, a <br /> motion was made by Mrs. Grady, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the <br /> Grade Level 7 Curriculum Revision for Physical Education. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.10 Freshman Seminar 91h Grade Course Curriculum — Grade 9/10 Douse <br /> Master Greg Moore discussed this course curriculum for ninth grade students. <br /> He said students will explore eight essential questions in an attempt to provide <br /> an adequate transition from middle school to high school academics. The <br /> essential and themes include Choices, Accountability Morality, Responsibility, <br /> Success, Character, Change, and Leadership. Students will be presented with <br /> information in the areas of academic planning, character develop, civic and <br /> social responsibilities and overall accountability as members ofthe Masbpee <br /> High School learning community. <br /> Mr. Moore said there will be a progress report at mid-year. <br /> Auer fir. Moore's presentation, a motion was made by Mrs. Romkey, <br /> seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the Freshman Seminar 91h Grade Course <br /> Curriculum. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.11 Proposed Changes to 2005-2006 High School Student Handbook—Mr. <br /> Babbitt presented the proposed changes to the 2005-2006 Nigh School Student <br /> Handbook. They included the following: not allowing cell phone usage during <br /> school hours, unauthorized use ofvideo imaging devices strictly prohibited on <br /> school grounds, administration of medications, and safety belt <br /> recommendations. <br /> Following Mr. abbitt's presentation, a notion was made by Mrs. Grady, <br /> seconded by Mr. Thomas to approve the proposed 2005-2006 Ma hpee High <br /> School Student Handbook changes. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.1 Personnel — 1r .
