t <br /> i <br /> Mashpee School C o nunittee-REGULAR MEETING-November 2, 2005 page <br /> -).4 Letter to Brad Tripp—Mashvee High School Fields— Mrs. Bradshaw acknowledged <br /> Mr. Tripp at the request of the School Committee to thank him for the wonderful <br /> job that he and his grounds crew do on the athletic fields at the,high school. <br /> 5.5 Carriage House Open House. --__"Falmouth Enterprise's Article — Mrs. Bradshaw <br /> acknowledged an event held at the Carfiage House, a homeless shelter for women <br /> and children, acknowledging and thanking Mrs. Reis for her hard work over the <br /> years who spearheaded this project renovation. The event was actually warned <br /> Mollie's Open House at the Carriage House. Mrs. Reis raised nearly $30,000 in <br /> donations which helped renovate the kitchen and other areas In the house. Donations, <br /> may be sent to Carriage House, Attention: Mollie Reis, 294 old Main Road, North <br /> Falmouth, SIA. <br /> r <br /> 5.6 Chirls Darrah -- South Shore League Championship — "Cade Cod Tines" Article — <br /> Mr . Bradshaw recognized Chris Darrah for coning in first overall in the South <br /> Shore League Championship cross country race. <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw also mentioned that the Golf team had a wonderful week. Mr. <br /> "Rourke thanked Mason Pare, the captain of the team, who was instrumental in the <br /> success of this turn. He also thanked the School Committee members for not <br /> instituting a user's fee stating that there are over 30 golfers in his program this year <br /> s well as thanking the various golf courses on the cape for accommodating this <br /> tean-1 when playing. <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw handed over the plaque from the South Shore League Tournament to <br /> Mason and Mr. O'Rourke to hang in the high school with much pride. <br /> The materials for the EQA audit have been submitted and Mrs. Bradshaw thanked <br /> all the various people in the district for their assistance in obtaining the necessary <br /> materials for this pending audit. <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw mentioned that she attended the Massachusetts Association of <br /> School Committee and Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents <br /> conference in Worcester. An award for the first time was presented to a School <br /> Committee member for their lifetime achievement and for their special recognition <br /> for a life member in the School Committee Association, and it was awarded t <br /> Janice Mills. Mrs. Bradshaw presented Mrs. Mills with this plaque. <br />
