Mashp ee School C on-irnittee-RE GULAR MEETING-November 2, 2005 Page <br /> .2 Administrative Reports, — Mrs. Bradshaw stated that the Administrative Reports <br /> were included in the packet. <br /> .3 Enrollments - Mrs. Brads-haw reported on the latest district--wide enrollments for <br /> each of the schools. They were as of November 1, 2005, at Coombs School, 455; <br /> Quashnet School — 580; High School— 1,007 totaling 2,042. <br /> 8.4 Out of School Suspensions—Mrs. Bradshaw stated that these were included in the <br /> packet. <br /> .5 School Committee Policy Review <br /> 8.5.1 "Student Fundraising Activities"—Policy IG JE <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw stated that the Student Fundraising Activities Policy was brought to <br /> the School Committee members last time for their consideration. Two policies <br /> were found in the Policy Book and they were virtually the sane except for 3. one <br /> version said a fundraising activity approved by the school committee and the one <br /> you have in front of you at 3. stated approved by the Superintendent. The school <br /> committee reviewed this prion and now needs to take a vote on this policy. <br /> Mrs. Trills stated that it makes more sense for the Superintendent to approve <br /> fund-raising activity. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr . Romkey, to have the Superintendent <br /> approve the fund-raising activities. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.6 CIP Report— Mrs. Bradshaw highlighted the request for the Capital Improvement <br /> x - Project Summary which was included in the packet. Mr. Roche stated the seven <br /> priorities on the Capital Improvement Program list. Mrs. Bradshaw presented the <br /> list to the School Committee members and asked for any comments, additions or <br /> deletions. <br /> Mr. Thomas mentioned that the school department will have a level funded budget <br /> and basically this list is a wish list so to speak and that these seven proposals need <br /> to beP rioritied. <br /> Mrs. Mills suggested that the committee members take about two weeks to think <br /> about prioritizing this list. <br /> i <br /> i <br />
