The <br /> School Conunittee members asked Mrs. Bradshaw to come up with a proposal and <br /> the bind of funding necessary to update and upgrade the existing computer <br /> technology at the schools. <br /> Mr. Moroney highlighted his proposal to the school committee members and <br /> basically requested to specific items, one being funding for additional network <br /> support help and internet access at the high school. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Thorna , seconded by Mrs. Roinkey, to tale money out of the <br /> Revolving account for funding for additional network support help. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.8 School Committee Workshops <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw brought up the idea of may be scheduling a couple of workshops <br /> for school committee members to get together, talk and share their ideas. Mrs. <br /> Bradshaw asked the members to think about this and cone back with their <br /> thoughts on these workshops. <br /> 8.9 High School PM_Prouarn Update --- Mr. Brown — This item was discussed <br /> previously. <br /> 8.10 High School School Improvement Plan-- Mr. Brown, Mrs. St. Cyr, Mr. Babbitt <br /> and Mr. Moore spore and highlighted each of the Mouse A, B and C Improvement <br /> Plans which was developed with input from the Mashpee High School faculty <br /> members and School Council members. <br /> Mr. Babbitt spoke on the House A Action Plan highlighting the four specific <br /> Goals: <br /> To conduct a district wide needs assessment for Middle school students, <br /> and develop a viable, long terra (3-5 years) strategical plan that addresses <br /> their learning needs. <br /> • To identify academic competencies and demonstrate student acquired shills <br /> by showcasing their work. <br /> • To create an effective (electronic) tool that identifies student behaviors and <br /> maintains statistical data. <br />
