1AS PEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE WORKSHOP ANIS REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 4, 2006 Inu es Attendees: Chairman MaryRose Grady, Peter Thomas, Becky Romkey, Bill McNamara, and Janice Mills. Also in attendance was Superintendent ofSchools Aran Bradshaw. I. Call Meeting Mrs. Grady called the School Committee workshop to order at 3:45 p.m. in to order the Quashnet School Library. II. workshop 2.1 School Committee workshop—M.A.S.C. Executive Director Glean Kooeher — Mr. Moocher was invited to address the Committee regarding roles and responsibilities, communication strategies, and the Ethics Law changes. recess was taken at 6:20 p.m. The regular meeting reconvened at 6:30 p.m. III. QS Music 3.1 QS Music Techology Presentation—Andy Tro a.nos—QS Music Presentation teacher Andy Troyanos demonstrated the latest in music technology. Also, Mr. Troy nos introduced two of his students, Brianna Pingree and Emily Mannan, who demonstrated their skills on the computer. The computer is a Macintosh G5 which Mashpee Public Schools introduced one year ago. The machine runs all music software and assists with every aspect ofthe music program. Iv. Approval of Minutes 4.1 Regular Meeting.—September 6,2006—Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the minutes of the September 6, 2006 regular meeting. VOTE; Unanimous 4.2 Executive Session—September 6, —Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. McNamara, to approve the minutes ofthe executive session held on September 6, 2006. VOTE: Unanimous 4.3 Regular Meeting—September 20, 2006—Motion made by Mrs. Romkey, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of September 2 , 2006. VOTE: In favor — Mr. Thomas, Mr. McNamara, and Mrs. Romkey; abstained—Mrs. Grady and Mrs. Mills. 4.4 Executive Session — September 20, 20 6 — Motion made by Mrs. Romkey, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on September 2 ,2006.
