4 <br /> MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—WORKSHOP AND REGULAR MEETING—OCTOBER 4, 2006 <br /> PAGE <br /> 12.1.3 Budget—Mr. Brown met with town officials on October "'t <br /> discuss the budget. <br /> 12.1.4 Curriculum MCAS — No report other than lairs. Bradshaw's <br /> previous MCAS results presentation. <br /> 12.1.5 Athletic Advisory Committee — Mr. Thomas said he has not net <br /> formally with Athletic Director Michael Horne yet. However, the <br /> high school fields are well-managed this year. He said Pop warner <br /> is hosting a tournament this year and all everyone is working <br /> ing <br /> together to use our facilities. <br /> 12.2 External Reports <br /> 12.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative—Mrs. Grady was unable to attend their last <br /> meeting but will attend the next. <br /> 12.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. R m ey reported on a meeting that was <br /> held on September 27h. She said there is a need to have a high <br /> school student serve on the Leisure Services Advisory Council. <br /> Their neat meeting is slated for October 2 `h at 6:30 in Town Half. <br /> 12.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Puree — Mr. McNamara said the annual <br /> parent meeting was held on September 25h to discuss bins stop <br /> safety and bus stops. There were eight parents in attendance. The <br /> bus stops of concern were noted and will be visited by school <br /> officials and transportation representatives. Parents will be notified <br /> of their findings. <br /> 12.2.4 Boosters Club— Mr. Thomas said the concession stand is ready for <br /> delivery at the high school. <br /> l 2.2.5 Indian Education—There was no report this evening. <br /> 12.2.6 Health Advisory Committee — Mrs. Grady said a meeting will b <br /> scheduled within the next month. <br /> 12.2.7 Meru Advisory Committee—There was no report this evening. <br /> 12.2.8 Safety Committee—There was no report this evening. <br /> X111. other Mrs.. Bradshaw reiterated that Town Meeting will be on Monday, October <br /> 16, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. After May Town <br /> Meeting, a legal complication surfaced regarding the schools (Article and <br /> as a result, a revte must be taken. Mrs. Bradshaw stressed the need for <br /> parents to attend Town Meeting to cast their vote. <br />
