Seeing that there were no questions from the School Committee members, Mrs. Mills then asked if there were any questions or comments from the people in the audience from any opponents and/or proponents for the proposed budget. There were no questions asked from anyone at the meeting. Mrs. Mills mentioned that this was one ofthe nicest budget presentations that she has seen in a long while and congratulated Mrs. Bradshaw on her presentation. Mr. Myers, Board of Selectmen member, spoke and thanked Mrs. Bradshaw and the School Committee members for the excellent presentation given on behalf of the proposed budget. Seeing there were no further comments from thep ublie, Mrs. Mills closed the Public Nearing at 8:05 p.m. and continued on with the regular agenda of the School Committee meeting to III on the Approval of Minutes. III. Approval of Minutes 3.1 I Meeting— December 7. 2005 — Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded b Mrs. Grady, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on December 71, 2005, changing the word on the first page to read to instead of the under 11. Executive Session heading. VOTE: Unanimous .2 Executive Session — December 7 2005 -- Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Romkey, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on December 7, 2005. VOTE: Unanimous Iv, Public Hearing on Proposed FY 07 Budget — This item was discussed previously. V. Acknowledgements Mrs. Mills stated that the music groups had been very busy during the month o December and that she had attended a couple of these musical everts. She again thanked the fifth and sixth grade students from the Quashnet School for their earlier jazz presentation. Mrs. Bradshaw then mentioned that the chorus students from the high school were going to sing the rational Anthem prior to a Celtics game at the Boston Carden on January 23, Zoo .
