a MASUPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE---REGULAR MEETING -APRIL 41, 2007 PAGE 4 There are currently 105 kindergarten registrations now with an additional 40 out to families that need to be completed. 10.3 Enrollments — Mrs. Bradshaw updated the school-wide enrollments as follows: Coombs School — 488; Quasbnet School — 566; high school — 953 for a total district-wide enrollments of 2,007. Also, there are currently 368 special education students system'wide with 41 Mashpee students attending Cape Cod Tech. 10.4 Out-of-School Suspensions — The high school's out-of-school suspensions were reflecting the following: Grade 7, ; Grade 8, ; Grade 9, Grade 1 O, ; Grade 11, 5; Grade 121 5. 10.5 TV Production Club—Presentation given earlier in the meeting. XII. Specifically Assigned/ Mars. Grady mentioned that she and Mrs. Romkey visited the high school to Unfinished Business observe Grade 's daily routine. XIII. New Business No reports under this agenda item. XIV. Committee Reports 14.1 Sub-Committee Reports 14.1.1 Negotiations — Mr. McNamara said Unit C is going to mediation, while Unit A has been settled. 14.1.2 Policy—Mr. Thomas said there was no meeting. 14.1.3 End et—Mrs. Grady reported on the budget sub-committee meeting held on March 2 , 2007. In her report, Mrs. Bradshaw discusses the following topics: 1 Outdoor lighting at the Coombs and Quashnet Schools: Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve outdoor lighting for $6,500 from the School Dental account as recommended by the budget sub-committee. VOTE: Unanimous 2 CPA Projects: The budget sub-committee recommended approval ofthe track surface replacement at Mashpee High School ($66,000) and installation of a synthetic turf football stadium at Mashpee High School($950,000). Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve above recommendation. VOTE: Unanimous
