There was discussion <br /> of putting all upcoming school events on one page. <br /> Mrs. Grady asked Mrs. Beaudin for information on the summer program. There <br /> was discussion about camps for Special Education students. Mrs. Grady said <br /> more information was needed. <br /> 10.3 Enrollments- Mrs. Bradshaw reported the following enrollment update: <br /> Coombs School 485, Quashnet.School 567, Mashpee High School 952 for a <br /> total of 2004 students. Currently 41 students attend Cape Cod Tech. <br /> 10.4 Out of School Suspensions- <br /> Gr. 7 Gr. 8 Gr. 9 Gr. 10 Gr. 11 Gr. 1 <br /> April 2 1 4 4 3 1 <br /> 10.E School Choice-Mrs. Bradshaw recommended that Mashpee Public Schools <br /> not participate in School Choice. Mrs. Mills motioned not to participate in <br /> School Choice for the 2007-2008 school year., Mrs. Romkey seconded the <br /> motion. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.7 Williams Park Field May 17, 18, and 21, 2007- Mrs. Mills <br /> motioned to approve the field trip to Roger Williams Park Zoo on May 17,, l , <br /> and 21,2007. Mrs. Romkey seconded. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.8 KCC Student Handbk, 2007-2008. Mrs. Doyle discussed the changes <br /> that had been made to the handbook. There was discussion as to whether or <br /> not Free Reduced Lunch forms and the Wellness Policy should be part of the <br /> handbook. For this year, a decision was.reached to include those documents as <br /> inserts. Firs. Grady asked that members of the Threat Assessment team be listed <br /> its the Handbook. Mrs. Doyle agreed to reprise this page. firs. Mills motioned <br /> to accept the Kenneth C. Coombs School Student Handbook with the Team ' <br /> Assessment members added and Wellness Policy and Free Reduced lunch forms <br /> inserted. Mrs. Rornkey seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.9 Transition Activities- Mrs. Bradshaw discussed student transitions <br /> involving teachers, students, and parents for the transition ofgrade 2 to 3 and <br /> also grade 6 to 7. There was discussion about addressing the concerns of <br /> students in grade 6, including anxiety about opening locker locks. <br /> The following six agenda items were moved up <br /> 10.11- Sharing of Information-Mrs. Bradshaw discussed sharing of information. <br /> She stated that the school is restricted to provide information that would identify <br /> an individual. She provided a back up of these regulations. <br /> 1.11 "Paps Concert"' Relocation- Jul rr26, 2008- Mrs. Bradshaw stated that the <br /> Concert Committee has been proposed to move the "Pops Concert" to Mashpee <br /> High School due to the fact that the Mashpee Commons offers limited space. <br /> There was discussion as to whether alcohol would be served.
