Update on Coombs school—Donna Zaesle <br /> Mrs. Zesle gage an informative report highlighting the wonderful things that <br /> take place at KCC. Mrs. Zaesle focused on two areas at KCC; early education and <br /> reading. KC is the beginning of the education process. Everything starts at our school. <br /> The KCC goal is to create ars environment that welcomes children and families. <br /> Liz Wilber, Grade I teacher and Patty Denny, Title 1 teacher presented the <br /> Mashpee Reads program. The program is called " ui inSchool ofr r, One Book <br /> at a im . "At the end of the presentation, a group of students from Mrs. Wilbur's class <br /> gave an outstanding performance which included singing a song about reading. <br /> g <br /> VIII. Update on Mashpee High School—Alan Winrow <br /> One of the initiatives at MHS is to design a plan and establish a goal to improve <br /> SAT performance. Another initiative is to reduce some of the barriers to our AP courses <br /> thereby opening up AP courses to all students to raise the bar in high performance and <br /> achievement. Presently there are over 100 students enrolled in these demanding courses. <br /> Mr. winrow spore about the number of clubs and co-ocular activities and how they <br /> are flourishing. <br /> IX. *Approval of! hent —1/6!2010 <br /> Mr. Franco made a notion seconded by Mrs. Stanley to approve the minutes of <br /> 1/6/2010. <br /> Vote: Unanimous <br /> X.
