upon employment and every three years, or more frequently as may be required <br /> by law. The results of that CORI must be acceptable to both the Town Manager <br /> and the Superintendent of Schools. <br /> 2 All Town employees who may be required to work within or on District buildings <br /> or grounds will be provided a copy of all building rules and School Committee <br /> policies and will be obligated to adhere to the same. <br /> 8. Modifications to Memorandum of Understanding <br /> It is agreed that throughout the term of this Memorandum of Understanding, the <br /> Superintendent and the Town Manager shall meet semi-annually from the effective date <br /> hereof to discuss any concerns of the parties and a plan of action to address any such <br /> concerns. The Town and/or the District may submit proposals, if any, for the <br /> modification of the Memorandum of Understanding and the proposed modifications shall <br /> be submitted to the School Committee and the Town Manager for review. Modifications <br /> or amendments to this Memorandum of Understanding may be adopted and shall become <br /> effective only upon written Amendment hereto executed by the School Committee and <br /> Town Manager. <br /> 9. No Circumscription of Authority <br /> The parties hereby agree and acknowledge that nothing contained in this Memorandum of <br /> Understanding shall be construed to circumscribe, modify, alter, limit or amend any legal <br /> right or authority of the District as provided by Massachusetts law, the Mashpee Home <br /> Rule Charter or Town Bylaws, except as specifically and expressly set forth herein. <br /> Nothing herein shall be deemed to modify, rescind, alter or otherwise restrict the rights, <br /> duties and obligations of the Town Manager relating to supervision and reorganization of <br /> Town departments and agencies, other than the District, under the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts law, the Mashpee Home Rule Charter or Town By-laws. <br /> 8 <br />
