She mentioned that according to the Long <br /> Mange Plan, the Finance Committee and the school are a little less <br /> than $600,000 apart., <br /> Mr. Goggin asked about school enrollments. Mr. Bacigalupi said <br /> that he had these enrollments on his data base. <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi also had prepared crafts of the Finance committee's <br /> financial goals and objectiVes and a Town Report, He asked that <br /> the Committee review these drafts for the next meeting. <br /> Capital Improvement Committee <br /> 1I <br /> Mr. Golub again suggested that the CIP budget be increased. B <br /> mentioned that Greg Taylor, DPW, has capital needs of $300 ,000 this <br /> -year and then every year from now on just for roads. Mr. Golub <br /> offered that this money come from reduced expenditures or increased <br /> revenues, Mr. Bacigalupi agreed that the GIP budget needed to be <br /> increased, but increased slowly. Mr, Goggin said that the Finance <br /> Committee cannot just increase one line item without review of the <br /> whole budget. He also invited the Committee to remember that Mr. <br /> Taylor had told then a year ago that he would not be needing this <br /> money for roads, Ms. King added that this is outside Chapter 9 <br /> m ney. Mr. Goggin stated that Mr. Taylor stated a year ago that it <br /> was already included in the Long Range Plan, Mr. Goggin suggested <br /> promoting the Long Range Plan. <br /> Request for Transfer <br /> Again, the Board of Health was not present to discuss their , <br /> transfer request. Ms. King asked that Mr. McQuaid be invited to <br /> the next meeting and notified that the committee cannot vote on <br /> this transfer request until certain questions are answered. <br /> The next scheduled meeting is a joint meeting between the Finance <br /> Committee and the Board of Selectmen on Monday, JanUary 8th at <br /> 3 P . The Fina ce committee will again meet on January 9th at <br /> : P . <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi Motioned to adjourn this meeting at 7: PM and go <br /> into Executive Session, in order to discuss the Administrator's <br /> Collectiv6 Bargaining Agreement.. After which the Finance Committee <br /> would not go back into regular session, Mr, Golub seconded the <br /> Motion and members voted: Marcia King yes. Sid Golub y s, Juan <br /> Bacigalupi yes. .
