'Tony Gallo was unable <br /> to attend. The meeting was held at the Carol Jacobson Senior <br /> Center, <br /> Please note for the record that once the Minutes are approved, the <br /> audio tape will be reused. <br /> Minutes <br /> Dan Goggin Motioned to approve the Minutes of May 28th as written. <br /> Mr. watt seconded the Motion. Mr, Golub rade an addition to page <br /> 2. paragraph 4 . The Chairman stated that he had provided Mr. <br /> Goggin with certain information from Urban Tax Services for his <br /> inspection. With the correction noted, the Board voted 4-0, Mr. <br /> Bacigalupi abstaining. <br /> inanoe Committee Seat vacancy <br /> Mike Kumin had spoken with certain individuals that the Committee <br /> had felt may he interested in the Board' s vacant seat , He received <br /> a resume from Nancy Jo Goulart which he requested copies for the <br /> next meeting. Ms. Goulart had also provided a letter of interest . <br /> The other individuals that were contacted did not show an interest. <br /> Board of Health <br /> Elias McQuaid was unable to attend the meeting as scheduled, but <br /> prov,a ded the Committee with the information they had been seeking. <br /> According to Mr. McQuaid there are 38 p6tentially affected homes <br /> Only 31 of the homeowners have so far contacted the Board of Health <br /> for bottled water, and 28 homeowners have applied for the <br /> filtration units . Where have been five letters sent to homeowners <br /> who have not yet contacted the office, informing then that their <br /> groundwater was possibly contaminated. Mr. McQuaid also expects <br /> that the Town will receive reimbursement for the filtration unit <br /> rental costs through a DEP grant. Mr. McQuaid will pursue this <br /> grant . ' Mr. Bacigalupi felt that it was highly unlikely that the <br /> Town would receive am funds . He mentioned that there are only <br /> to 10 plots right under the Plume that will he mandated for <br /> reimbursement . Mr. Golub mentioned that he had asked Mr. McQuaid <br /> what he thought the percentage would be f homeowners that would <br /> hook up to 'Town water when available? Mr. McQuaid had answered <br /> that he felt 100W of the homeowners would try to hook up. Mr. <br /> Bacigaiupi stated that he would recommend a betterment for these <br /> homeowners to hook up so that they not expect the Town to pair for <br /> it , Mr. watt mentioned d that he had also remembered asking Mr. <br /> Mcquaid about reimbursements and that the Health Agent was assured <br />
