Ilashpee Finance Committee Mnutes March 4, 1997 Present: Sidney Golub. Chairman;Dan Goggia, Vice Chairman;Jim Cleary,Tony Gallo, Alec watt Present representing D.P.W.:-Greg Taylor,D.P.W. Director Present representing Selectmen's Office: Bob whritenour,Executive Secretary Absent: Nancy Goulart,Mike Iain Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Golub at 6:35 p.m. at Mashpee Town lull, Meeting Room 1. Minutes: Tued ,February 18, 1997 Regular Session: Minutes from the February 1 , 19971,regular Session were not approved due to the question of a reed for a quorum of committee members present at this meeting. Meeting on March 6, 1997 at Fire Station: Mr. Golub requested that prior to the meeting on March 6, he would like the Finance Committee to review the warrant for their conents and have a pass-through of the Warrant t this meeting. Request for Transfer-Town Clerk: Request for Transfer from the Deserve Fund was submitted by the Town Clerk's Office to the Finance Committee for$495.00 to be transferred to the Town ClerkOff-ice Supplies to pay for the purchase of a new typewriter. Motion made by Mr. Gallo to approve the Town Clerk Office Supplies Transfer from the Reserve Fund in the mount of$495.00. Motion seconded by Ir. Watt. Vote: Unanimous. 5-0. Request for Meetiniz from School Committee for BudgetReview: Mr. Golub read a letter dated February 7, 1997,from the School Committee requesting a meeting on Thursday, March 20, 1997, to discuss the school budget. Mr. Golub will try to change the meeting to the FinanceCommittee's regularly scheduled meeting held on a -" Tuesday. Appointment of Jim Cleary to Finance Committee: 11r1r. Golub obtained signatures res of the Finance Committee for the appointment of Jinn Cleary to the Finance Committee for a terra to expire at the May 1997 Annual Town Election. Signed document will be given to the Town Clerk.
