Cleary. <br /> Vote: Unanimous. 5 (Mr. Goggin not present at this time). <br /> Notations for the Rccord for Tuesday, Tune 10, 19977 Meetin <br /> 1r. Golub referred to the letter from Dr.Lincoln A.DeMoura concernini a meeting on <br /> Wednesday,July 9, 1997. Mr. Golub noted that he had commented that tfie meeting <br /> was going to be a joint meeting to discuss budgetary issues. He stated that this comment <br /> was in error and that the meeting is to discuss brainstorming for obtaining additional <br /> funding from the state. <br /> RE VESTS FOR TRANSFER FROM THE RESERVE FUND: <br /> Doreen Guild, Assistant Town Accountant, submitted four Requests for Transfer From the <br /> Reserve Fund from the Town Accountant's ice. She noted that they are for"cleaning up" <br /> the end of the fiscal year. <br /> Request for Transfer from the Reserve Fund to Medicare <br /> Amount Requested: $5,000. <br /> Amount requested will be used for Town's share of medicare and social security. <br /> Doreen Guild noted that the transfer is required due to the settlement of police/Fire <br /> contracts for a two-year period and the teacher's lump sum payments at the end of the <br /> year. She noted that this year there were 47 teachers requesting lump sums as opposed <br /> to previous years in which 7 or 8 teachers requested the lump sums. <br />
