Todino,Police dicer Meeting Called to Order by Chairwoman Gouiart at :37 p.m. at the Ma hpee Police Station, on Tuesday,March 2, 1999. BUDGE`REVIEW -ANIMAL CONMQL. - - nymy� ■in� Chairwoman Gout-art notectthat there is an Article in the warrant requesting a part4i me Aminal Control Assistant of 16 hours per week,providing seven-day aminal control coverage for the-town and providing covemge during any absence of the animal control officer. Chief Przybylek stand that Ms. June Daley,Animal Control Officer,was at a meeting-at the Library and will be free by 8:00 p.m. in c=there are any questions;thcreforo,he will review the Animal Control budget. Chief Przybylek noted that on the overall sun wry sheet,the budget is Very similar to the past year with one significant difference this year—the recommendation of the addition of a part-tune person.- Officer Daley is and-has been the only Animal Control Officer in the'T wn for a long time and probably the only department that never expanded with the growth of the town. noted that she works a lot of e tm hours�and works weekends and evenings. With the addition of a part-time person,who would not only be available evenings to expand the service ability to the town,but-also on weekends;as well. In addition,the-part-time person could cover during braes when Ms. Daley is on vacation. Chief 1bylek noted that they have a contractual agreement with the Town-of Sandwich that when Ms.Daley is-away,the Sandwich Dog Officer corers Mashpee. This works fine except when the Sandwich Dog Officer-gom away on vacaion,they their have W double-task their-own person to cover for Sandwich. Chief Prybylek noted that thus was the s
