It was recommended that school day start times be 8:30 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. for the middle/high school to allow these students to be less sleep deprived. Start times for
the remaining grades would also be altered. Start times are not unified due to the need for staggered
bus routes. The matter brought forth some debate and was taken under advisement for further
discussion.
Substance Abuse Task Force: The monthly drop in night held on the first Tuesday of each month has
continued to be well attended, and serves as a model for other communities.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn at 7:49 p.m.
Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman.
VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
Roll Call Vote:
Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes
Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Opposed, none
Enclosure: Respectfully submitted,
Mashpee Public Schools proposed marquee
Proposed FYI Transfer Station Permit Fees Kathleen M.
