Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to order by Chairman O'Hara at 6: 0 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday, December 18, 2017 Regular Session:, <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the minutes of Monday,December 18, 2017 <br /> as presented.. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton, <br /> VO'T'E: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Doll Call Vote. <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Cabalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS HEADING <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Proclamation: Town Planner F. Thomas Fudala— ebrement. <br /> The Board of Selectmen read aloud a Proclamation in recognition of the retirement of F. Thomas <br /> Fudala. Mr. Fudala was in attendance and was honored by the Board of Selectmen for serving as <br /> Town Planner for the past thirty-three years in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Attributes publicly recognized include the successful application and receipt of the largest Self-Help <br /> grant in the State of Massachusetts which assisted in the funding of the Mashpee River woodlands. <br /> During his tenure Mr. Fudala was noted to have spearheaded the establishment of the Mashpee Sewer <br /> Commission and has maintained membership since 1988. Mr. Fudala was also the pri0ncipal author of <br /> the Mashpee Zoning Bylaws and worked tirelessly to facilitate the creation of the Mashpee National <br /> Wildlife Refuge to protect and preserve open space. <br /> Mr. Fudala was cited for his impact to the Mashpee community and for his Protection of the Town's <br /> natural resources while maintaining a balance with economic development. Previously, the Town held <br /> a ceremony in his honor and presented Mr. Fudala with a plaque for his outstanding service. <br />
