Ms. <br /> enatori highlighted some of the regional activities under active involvement by the Commission. <br /> On the forefront is year two of the wastewater implementation program which is awaiting approval. <br /> Of the eleven priority watersheds, the Town of l ashpee has two under review, the Popponesset Bay <br /> and Waquoit Bay estuaries. Both the watershed projects are expected to be used as model programs <br /> and have been commended for developing fair and equitable cost methods In nitrogen reduction and <br /> for the cost sharing advantage with neighboring towns having combined interest. <br /> Mashpee's Comprehensive Wastewater Nitrogen Management Plan is expected to be reviewed in the <br /> next few weeks. The Development of Regional Impact (DRI)Process relative to the wastewater <br /> management plan is consistent with the Section 208 Plan and its processes. The DRI will not require a <br /> lengthy procedure, and 'increased flexibility will thus be allowed in the review process.. <br />
