The <br /> Commission has been incorporating methods to better streamline the process for communities. The <br /> p <br /> refeiTed course of action would ease the local planning systems approach and review of regulated <br /> processes. <br /> Collaborative efforts are underway with the Town of Mashpee in support of the Route 151 corridor <br /> project, flans include the redesign of the intersection at the Mashpee HighSchool/Old Barnstable <br /> Road location. With regards to hazard planning as it relates to vulnerabilities and coastal resilience, <br /> additional funding is expected. <br /> ashpee's representative to the Cape Cod Commission Ernest Virgilio was recognized as an <br /> exceptional and long standing member. Appreciation was articulated to Ids. Senators for her <br /> professionalism and expertise while serving on the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of Electronic Marquee at Mashnee Middleffli h School• Suerintendent Patricia Dei oer; <br /> The Board of Selectmen were respectfully requested to indefinitely postpone the above referenced <br /> agenda topic. The proposal is in regard to the replacement of the existing marquee located on Route <br /> 151 with an updated df. <br /> igital version for increased visibility, and case of remote modification with <br /> computer access. <br /> The Mashpee basketball team won the Division 4 South championship on Saturday winning over <br /> ohasset. The School Superintendent is shoving her support for Mashpee by attending a State <br /> semifinal game against the North champions from the Pope John XXIII School in Everett at the TIS <br /> Garden in Boston. <br /> Discussion and Approval of Temporary i n Permit-- baster Gardeners plant Sale, May19, 2018-6 <br /> A temporary sign permit application was before the Board for the approval of the annual Master <br /> Gardeners plant sale on May 19, 2018. A total of text signs are proposed to be placed in Mashpee to <br /> announce the event scheduled to be held at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds. Allen Forsythe was in <br /> attendance to request approval. Mr. Forsythe indicated that many residents of the Town of Mashpee <br /> receive benefit from the programs offered. <br />
