Volunteer and Program Support Coordinator’s Report <br /> <br />The Director introduced the new Volunteer and Program Support Coordinator Denise <br />Fronius and distributed her report for the month of February. <br /> <br />The Volunteer and Program Support Coordinator reviewed her report and highlighted <br />she spent much of the month acclimating herself to the programs and activities offered <br />through the Council on Aging. She interviewed new volunteers and revised the <br />Volunteer List. She noted she is seeking volunteers to help with the Senior Center <br />Orientation Packets and Volunteer Manuals. She noted her goals are to host a Meet <br />and Greet on March 14, Celebrate National Volunteer Month, attend Coffee and Chat <br />and begin the planning of the Volunteer Recognition Celebration. <br /> <br />Motion: Virginia McIntyre moved to accept the Volunteer and Program Support <br />Coordinator’s Report, seconded by Jean Noussee. Vote 4-0 unanimous <br /> <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Age Friendly Massachusetts <br /> <br />The Director reviewed Age Friendly Massachusetts and also Healthy Aging Cape Cod. <br />This is a regional group formed to create a Regional Age Friendly Cape Cod. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />UPDATE: Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging/Executive Office of <br />Elder Affairs <br /> <br />The Director stated that the Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging have a <br />grant to make Massachusetts Dementia Friendly. <br /> <br />Motion: Virginia McIntyre moved to adjourn, seconded by Jean Noussee.
