<br /> <br /> <br />Conservation Commission Minutes <br />Thursday, March 22, 2018 <br />Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Ockway Meeting Room <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Dale McKay, Ralph Shaw, Brad Sweet, Robert Anderson <br />and Chad Smith <br /> <br />Also Present: Andrew McManus, Conservation Agent, Katelyn Cadoret, Assistant <br />Conservation Agent and Judy Daigneault, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Dale McKay opened the meeting at 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />No comment from the public <br /> <br />PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> <br />Minutes: Approve March 8, 2018 Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve and hold Executive Session Minutes of March 8, 2018, <br />seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote 4-0-1 with Mr. Shaw abstaining <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve the Regular Session Minutes of March 8, 2018, <br />seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote 4-0-1 with Mr. Shaw abstaining. <br /> <br />Mashpee Pond Water Levels (Update) <br /> <br />The Agent explained the Conservation Office has been receiving calls about the issues of high water <br />levels and erosion from the latest storms. He said the Assistant Agent and he have been adjusting <br />the boards at the fish ladder and removed boards from John’s Pond. At the Mashpee Pond, there <br />was significant build up on debris which caused some blockage. They will be monitoring the flows <br />and addressing the problems. <br /> <br />HEARINGS: <br /> <br />6:00 John E. and Nicole D. Bartlett, 28 Sampson’s Mill Road. Proposed construction of an <br />addition and septic system upgrade. At request of applicant, continued from 2/22/2018 to <br />allow time for revised plans sowing riverfront calculations. NOI <br /> <br />Resource Area: Buffer zone to BVW, Riverfront (Quaker Run) <br /> <br />
