<br /> <br /> <br />Conservation Commission Minutes <br />Thursday, March 8, 2018 <br />Mashpee Town Hall <br />Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Dale McKay, Thomas O’Neill, Chad Smith, Brad Sweet, <br />Robert Anderson, Stephanie Simpson (Associate Member) <br /> <br />Also Present: Andrew McManus, Conservation Agent and Judy Daigneault, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />No Comment from the Public <br /> <br />PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> <br />MINUTES: Approve February 8 & 22, 2018 Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve the February 8, 2018 Minutes, seconded by Mr. <br />Smith. Vote 4-0-1 with Mr. Anderson <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve the February 22, 2018 Minutes, seconded by <br />Mr. Smith, Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> <br />The Agent welcomed Stephanie Simpson, as an Associate Member to the <br />Conservation Commission <br /> <br />VOTE: Administrative Approval Request – 43-2861- Willowbend Golf Course <br /> <br />Steve Wilson, Willowbend, presented the Administrative Request for Willowbend. He <br />stated they are seeking Administrative Approval for minor revisions made to the approved <br />plan that was issued on 3/24/2016. The revised plan adjusts the southerly end of the pond <br />footprint and realigns the existing cart path at the same end. <br /> <br />The Agent illustrated where the changes are to be made on the slides provided. He noted <br />the pond is a manmade pond and stated there are no performance standards for the pond <br />itself, however, part of this process is to dewater the pond. This is a low-lying area and <br />they will have a silt fence erosion work limit to make sure no water causes any erosion or <br />runoff to the river, Quaker Run. All cautions will be taken during the dewatering process <br /> <br />
