Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve the Administrative Request as presented for <br />Willowbend, seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> <br />HEARINGS: <br /> <br />6:00 Howard and Caroline R. Goodman, 53 Godfrey Road. Proposed additions, <br />removal/reconstruction of garage, septic system upgrade, hardscape/landscape <br />modifications. NOI <br /> <br />Resource Area: Buffer Zone to Coastal Bank, Salt Marsh, Land Under Ocean, <br />LSCSF, Riverfront (Mashpee River) <br /> <br />Matt Costa, Cape & Island Engineering, represented the applicants. He stated the <br />proposed project consists of the construction and maintenance of additions, upgrade the <br />existing septic, remove the existing garage, remove or fill the existing septic leaching <br />system relocate septic tank and install a drainage to collect surface and roof runoff. He <br />said they are proposing a storm water runoff system and regrading the area. The limit of <br />work will be maintained throughout the construction phase. All disturbed areas will be <br />restored and all disturbed areas will be restored with a grass seed mix similar to existing <br />conditions. He noted all the activity will take place in the front of the building and stated <br />the project meets the performance standards. He noted they reviewed the project with the <br />Board of Health and they have approved it. <br /> <br />The Agent showed some visuals of the project and where the property borders the <br />Mashpee River. He noted the trees that were to be removed for the installation of the <br />septic. He noted the steepness of the bank and some erosion occurring and said it is good <br />to see the regrading taking place with the installation of a basin. <br /> <br />Public <br /> <br />Al Houston, neighbor, was concerned with the proximity to his well. The Agent stated this <br />was reviewed by the Board of Health and there is no increase in the living space. He <br />encouraged him to speak with the Board of Health if he had any concerns. <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet to Close and Issue, seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> <br />6:03 David E. and Diane C. Weisman, 8 Brookside Circle. Proposed expansion of <br />existing deck and hazardous tree removal.
