Need questions answered regarding classification of preschool <br /> students as special ed <br /> Proposal of an English mordinator and a Math th coordinator incl d d in the budget. <br /> Coordinators do not meet any students. is this a continuous need? Suggest hiring <br /> consultants to do the coordinating rather than a permanent employee. <br /> At 7:22 p.m., a motion was made by Mr. ,morgan to close this part ofthe meeting and <br /> reconvene the meeting ofthe Finance Committee at the Mashpee Police Station in order to <br /> meet with the Police Chief. Motion was seconded by Mr.Arden and wwnimously passed <br /> Finance Committee meeting was reconvened at 7-35 P.M at the Mashpee Police Station. <br /> BUDGET R aw; WILLIAM PRZYBYLEK,-POLICE CHIEF <br /> Mr. William Pry+lek,l a hpee Police Chief,and Mr.Maurice Cooper,Deputy Police <br /> Chief were present to review the F is al Year 2001 Budget for the Police l epartmmt. <br /> Chief Przybylek noted to the Finance Committee that this year it is an incomplete budget. He <br /> said they are due to meet with the Selectmen tomorrow night to discuss the budget. He said <br /> he will review the latest revised budget tonight rather than the final budget. <br /> Chief Przybylek stated that be was out of town last week and he just received Mr.Arnold's <br /> lever regarding questions on the FY2001 budget. <br /> QHgAiLoAsfrom mar.Arnold's 1&tt r on FY01 n et: <br /> Chief Pr ybylek went over the items in Air.Arnold"s letter. <br /> Detailed Salary eet <br /> Mr.Arnold asked for a detailed salary spreadsheet for FY99 and YTD to include annual basic <br /> salary for step/grade,allowances,holiday,differential,clothing,vacation buyback,longevity, <br /> education and overtime. Chief Przybylek stated that this is not a work product that the Police <br /> Dep trent maintains. He said they maintain general records—they do not track employees <br /> dollar by dollar on what they have earned through the year. He noted that the Treasurer's <br /> Office has supplied that information in the past. However,because they have approximately <br /> 80 categories of overtime,the Treasurer's Office may not know what category the overtime <br /> was earned in.
