FinanceCommittee/March 14,2000 Mrs.Goulart stated that she talked with Bob Whrltenour and he Mated that he had talked with Diane Iommeleyr regarding this and,although them is a cost savings using Wright Express,based on the increase in the cost of gas, they are not recommending that the expense budgets on fuel expense be decreased. Mr.Arnold distributed a report he did on the Fuel casts for each department. The report listed each Department,the number of gallons for usage,actual amount,budget amount,and recommended amount. Copy of report attached to minutes. The Finance Committee had an extensive amount of discussion on the Wright Express proposal and whether the expense budgets should be reduced for FY101. After the above discussion,the Finance Committee voted on the above motion for theD.P.W.budget. Note on D.P.W.1 tion; , Motion did not pass. Vote: -3. Ian Arden,.teff Arnold,and Jiro Morgan Abstaining from Motion:3, Steve Cashman,Nancy Goulart,Chuck Sheehan Motion on f right�xpress: Mr.Arden rade a motion that the Finance Committee go on recd as strongly recommend* that the Wright Express system be implemented beginning July 1,2000. Motion seconded by Mr.Arnold. Vote:Unanimous 6-0. The Finance Committee members agreed to hold the expense line items for the departments they have not voted on yet which are using gas expense. The Finance Committee members agreed to discuss this matter with Bob Whritenour,Town Administrator,and Joyce Masan,As lsta t`'own, dmint rat r. Group Insurance Motionfor rp Insure; Ws.Goulart made a motion,seconded by Mr. Arden,to charge the recOmrtendati n of the Finance Committee from$11,850 to$11,500,as per charge noted by Diane Rommeir .eyer. vote:Unanimous 6-0.
