Allocated 157-1/2 hours, Install a Johns Fond ladder. Allocated 56 doors of labor. This is tied to an article. Replace Mahpee River dues, Allocated 29 hours. Where was discussion concerning his labor and allocating a pay stele of$15.50. It was noted that the Herring warden receives a set salary and does not receive an hourly rate for his labor. Mrs. Goulart noted that he gets paid similar to how the Finance Committee and Selectmen get paid. He receives an al lottment of$1,000 for what he does. He has requested$1,500 for FY200 L It was noted that the Selectmen have recommended 1,000. After discussion among the Finance Committee,a motion was made to increase the Herring warden's Salary from$1,000 t 1,500. Motion wfor errin Wardq!- ud lr.Morgan made a motion,seconded by Mr. Cashman,to approve the Herring Warden Salary Wage in the amount of$1,500 and Herring warden Expense in the amount of$2,500. Vote:Llnaninnous -0. . .w. Motion for D.P.W._ Hdget. Mrs.G ulart made a motion,seconded by Mr.Arden,to approve the D.P.w. budget in the amount of$1,259,500 and go along with the Selectmen's rwxmmendation. Discussion: W.Arnold disused theD.P.W.Expense budget and recommended that it be reduced by the amount of savings Mn fuel expense if the Town goes with the Wright Express proposal.
