11ARBOR MASTER
There was a discussion between Perry Ellis and Frd Blythe not as to the reed
for the three floating docks but as to the consequences of putting three in at once
without rules and regulations in place and the.pro leets that could arise with
people leaving their boats tied up over night. There might also be problems with
the docks used by "summer enterprises" (kayak rentals) and personal watercraft.
Mr. Ellis advised he needed the funds for all three as the price will continue to go
up. He also stated that rules would be in place, he was adopting the rules that
Falmouth uses and they would be modified to meet' has pee's needs. These
rules would be submitted to the hoard of Selectmen before the docks could be
used. Mr. Ellis further stated that he could do the job for$28,500 as apposed to
the original request of$33,-000. He also stated that these docks would not be in
place before the 2002 season; Jeff Arnold moved that we accept the aura of
$28,500 for capital a per.se. seconded by Carlton Meredith.
