Bacigalupi CALK To o1DLR: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Arnold at 7;00 p.m., at the Mashpee Town Half, Meeting Room #1, on Tuesday, August 14, Zoo 1. F APPROVAL of 1 IENTLS: Kathy Lynch made notion to accept the Minutes of the July 10, 200 I,Finance Committee meeting, seconded by Carlton Meredith. 'doted— - —'Unanimous OLD BUSINESS: I. Recommendation to the Board of Selectmen for the appointment of Deirdre Greelish to the Finance Committee to fill the vacancy of Maryanne Gibbs, for the balance of Y-02. Ater discussion,the Finance Committee agreed to wait to hear what Juan Bacigalupi has to say before making a recommendation to the Selectmen for Deirdre Greelish. . Liaison Assignments Chairman mold discussed the liaison assignments. He made some changes and handed out a new liaison position sheet. It was agreed that the Chairman would take.the TreasrerTax Collector and hold the Data Processing for the new person. STAN BACIGALUPI—RE: FINANCE COMW `T E 'VACANCY: Dr. Bacigalupi was present at the meeting to discuss his desire to fill the vacancy on the Finance Committee. He gage his Resumd to members for them-review. He was a member of the Finance Committee from 199441996 and participated in the development and update of the town's Long Mange Financial Plan as well as the refer process for ton budgets and Capital Improvement Plan, Chairman Arnold informed Dr. Bacigalupi that they received another application for the vacancy and the Committee would discuss the vacancy at its next meeting. The vacancy has been advertised in the newspaper and by that time the Committee will know if there are any other applicants.
