The Finance Committee rnet jointly with the Board- f Selectmen to review the remainder of the October Town Meeting Vent articles that were not previously voted on. At 6:30 p.m.the Finance Committee adjourned to Meeting Room##2 to continue its meeting. APPROVAL of MINUTES: Kathy Lynch made notion to approve the mutes of the August 14,2001,Finance Cottee Meeting, seconded by Jinn Morgan. Voted-5 Fred Blythe made notion to approve the Minutes of the August 2 ,2001,Finance Conurdttee Meeting, seconded by Dean Ards. Noted-5-0-1 Arnold, Arden,Blythe,Meredith,Morgan -Approved Lynch—abstain Carlton Meredith made motion to approve the Minides of the August 14,2001 Executive Session, seconded b Jing Morgan. Voted 5-0-1 Arnold,Arden,Blythe,Meredith,Morgan—Approved Lyne—abstain VACANCY ON FTNANCE CONDUTTEE, Carlton Meredith nominated Deirdre Greelish for the vacancy on the Finance Committee, seconded by Kathy Lynch for discussion. Jim Morgan nonunated,Juan.Bacioupi for the vacancy on the Finance Conn ittee,seconded by Fred Blythe. The Board members noted that both are qualified candidates and both are previous members of the Finance Cottee. Kathy Lynch noted that she would be happy with either candidate but would like to.have another woman on the Committee. Fred Blythe made motion to approve the.recommendation of Deirdre Greelish to pill the unexpired term of Maryanne Gibbs on the Finance Committee until the May town elation,Jim Morn seconded. A Doll Cale vote was taken as follows: Noted 5 -1 Arnold-yes Blythe-yes Lynch-yes Meredith-yes Morgan-yes Arden abstain
