ARTICLE V. Article V concerns whether to appropriate and transfer Two Hundred <br /> Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Six Dollars ($200,936.00) from the Overlay Surplus <br /> accent to the Assessors' Revaluation Account. There was a discussion between Bob <br /> Hutchinson and Joyce Mason, and they both agreed that the amount of this find <br /> appeared to be reasonable. <br /> Chuck Gasior moved to approve ARTICLEV. Bob Hutchinson ap r v <br /> Chris Avis seconded all were in favor no further discussion. Approved. <br /> ARTICLE VI. Article VI concerns whether to fand a Stipend for members of the <br /> Board of Assessors in the amount of$1,200.00. Bob Hutchinson discussed the fact <br /> that other Boards do not receive a Stipend. Bob Hutchinson stated that he would <br /> agree with reimbursement of expenses for travel, etc., but not a Stipend, which he <br /> likened to a salary. Bob Hutchinson stated he felt the Board, life the Finance <br /> Committee, was voluntary;and members should not receive a salary. There was a <br /> discussion regarding whether or not the members of the Board of,Assessors need to <br /> be certified in order to perform their duties, whether they were certified prior to their <br /> position, and whether this should be a factor in considering the Stipend. <br /> Chuck Gasior moved to aviDrove ARTICLE VI Bob Hutchinson Chris Avis <br /> Chuck Gasior, and Lynda Carroll were not in favor of approval. Chuck Gasior <br /> stated that the Finance Committee was not in favor. Not Approved. <br /> ARTICLE VII. Article V11 concerns the transfer of fmis in the amount of Five <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Sixteen($5,516.00) to the Library Expense account. Chuck <br /> Gasior and Joyce Mason on discussed this Article, and Bob Hutchinson inquired if there <br /> were other accounts that they could use to acquire this money, or if there was a risk to <br /> Mate aid if this was approved. Bob Hutchinson preferred that they wait until <br /> approximately ninety o days into their operating budget to decree 'if this transfer <br /> was necessary. <br /> Chuck Gasior moved to consider ARTICLE VIL Chris Avis a rovcd Lynda <br /> Carroll seconded Bob Hutchinson was not In favor, no further discussion. <br /> Three to 1 in favor. Approved. <br /> ART'IC'LE VIII. Article Vlll concerns the transfer of Fifteen Thousand <br /> ($15,000.00) dollars towards the Riverside Road Project Account for the repair of the <br /> water access located on Riverside Road. <br /> Chuck Gasior moved to avorove ARTICLE VIII Bob Hutchinson approved, <br /> Chris Avis seconded all were in favor, no further discussion. Aporoved. <br /> ARTICLE IX Article IX, concerns the transfer of{Three Hundred Fifty Two <br /> Thousand, Six Hundred Fifty Two ($352,652.00) from the AFCEB Cranberry <br /> Reimbursement Account to the Conservation Lands Maintenance Improvement <br /> Account. Where was discussion regarding funds for the maintenance nce f the bogs. <br />
