4 <br /> Charter and lav of the land and that is the way 1 1s going to be. Mr. Larkin offered <br /> his assistance when and if this issue does cone up in the future. H indicated that he <br /> had been through two charters and the explanations and all ofthe implementations <br /> and had to attend Court on one issue. <br /> Mr. Avis asked Mr. Larkmn what he felt his role will be in receiving the Articles, as <br /> the Finance Committee does, and the Board of Selectman does`? He asked what the <br /> gain will be by Mr. Larkin and Mr. Carter receiving this information. Mr. Avis asked <br /> if they ill'be voting on there. Mr. Larkin said that he would not he doing any of that <br /> and that it would be the Finance Committee's job to make recommendations. Mr. <br /> Larkin stated from an informational standpoint, that he granted to be sure that a <br /> certain Article is legitimate. He also had a question last year at Town Meeting that a <br /> certain Article was an amendment to the charter allowing the person to hold more <br /> than one elective office and so forth.
