Glen Harrington stated that David
Marsh, a breeder of Samoyeds, proposed the Article, and the Board of Health does not support it.
The proposed By-Law Article sloes not include an annual inspection, only a first inspection by an
Animal Control Officer or other agent of the Town. Mr. Harrington believes that an annual
inspection is necessary for the welfare of the animals, as well as.to check for sanitary conditions.
Another reason it is not supported is that several, meetings that had taken place slid not result in Et
middle point so that there were not parallel By-Laws and Board of Health regulations ming at
the same time). The Board of Health will give Mr. Harsh time to get the zoning portion of his
By-Lave on the books, and Mr. Harrington f .rther stated that the kennels that now exist are
M
illegal, because there is no residential zoning.allowance for kennels.
I-
