r e ISgryicej The design firm chosen will be responsible for providing the following services including, but not limited t , preparation of all site plans, construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, bidding documents, assistance with the bid process, environmental review, construction consultation and supervision, and any other responsibilities associated with the design,construction and items outlined herein..- a. erein.:a. work with the wilding Connittee and the Fire Chief to review the feasibility study and progranuning data that has been assembled to date. b. Revise programming data as required to achieve the goal of creating functional Fire and Rescue space meeting the needs of the department at a good value to the residents and the employees of the Town of Mashpee. c. Develop a programming work product including a Witten program of rooms and activities,their short-term(current to 20 year) spatial and functional needs, the adjacency of uses and long terra 20-- year) expansion plans. Including feasibility plans for a future sub-station. i d. The Designer shall prepare and submit concept sketches of various design ideas,including relative budgets, to determine a workable le plan solution in terms of the programs and various funding options. - - . Complete a structural and systems analris of-all building systems, including structural, plumbing, elect cal, mechanical, communications and VAC systems and incorporate system upgrades into design documents. f. Perform an analysis of handicap access with accessibility improvements to be incorporated into the design program. g. Consult and Work with-the Building Committee to select design option. h. Fully develop a final design program for the selected design, including all detailed plans,drawings, specifications and construction bidding materials. 3
