r <br /> Fire Station Building Committee <br /> .Butes 2 <br /> March 1 5, 1999 <br /> REPORT QF RM AR-CEUTECL <br /> Mr. May suggested the Committee further review site issues <br /> relative to the relocation of the road entry into the subject site <br /> location as it relates to the future realigm-hent of Job's Fishing load. <br /> Toni Fudala,the Town Planner, and Greg Taylor,the Director o <br /> Public works VaH I be consulted regarding this concern. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Baker to move forward with the conceptual <br /> schematic design of the Mashpee Fire and Rescue Station, <br /> Scheme 2B for an estimated cost of$2,403,530 to bring forth <br /> deflnit ve building pr ect proposa or tie nnual'I`own meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs.Mason. <br /> YOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> The Architects were directed to move forward with the conceptual <br /> schematic design to br'ng forth site elevations, construction materials, <br /> and additional schematics using available funds for the project scope. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to promoting the project as proposed to <br /> further enhance and elevate voter patronage. The Committee will meet <br /> next week to discuss strategies to advance the project. The Mashpee <br /> Taxpayers Association, Chamber of Commerce, Mens Club, Womens <br /> Groups, and Neighborhood Associations were considered as potential <br /> avenues of support.
